Fraud Reporting Service (FRS) Request for Proposal (RFP)
FSRA led the meeting with an update on the FRS RFP. FSRA is reviewing proposals from prospective applicants and anticipates onboarding a vendor by spring 2026.
Reporting workflow and attestations
TAC members supported FSRA’s suggestion to adopt the use of an attestation where an insurer does not have any fraud to report for a particular quarter.
Implementation – Insurer readiness
TAC members provided input on insurer readiness activities and where they will need support from FSRA. Key themes included capturing the correct data, ensuring IT system compatibility, and cyber security measurers. The group discussed the the need to develop a data dictionary and agreed to compile a list of examples to illustrate the Reasonable Grounds to Believe threshold.
Insurer communication
TAC members provided input on industry communication strategies, including e-blasts, webinars or a dedicated web page, depending on the speed of communication needed or the complexity of information being disseminated.
The next TAC meeting is scheduled for April 27.
