Plan administrators are required to provide information statements to all former and retired members of a pension plan every two years. If an administrator does not have current contact information for some former and retired members they may apply to the Chief Executive Officer of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (CEO) to receive a waiver of the requirement to provide a biennial statement in accordance with FSRA policy A300-901.
