Welcome
The Chair welcomed TAC members to the meeting and expressed thanks for their engagement and feedback during meetings.
2024-2025 Supervision Plan Review
FSRA shared 2024-2025 supervision focus indicating that attention will be on promoting strong conduct culture in mortgage brokerage, suitability assessment of mortgages to the clients and proper handling and protection of investments in administrators' care.
Licensing Update
The Committee was presented with an update on the new Continuing Education (CE) requirements for 2024-2026. FSRA shared the information regarding the two types of CE requirements: Conduct CE requirements and Professional CE requirements.
Consumer Office Update
The key findings from the 2024 Cross-Sectoral Survey were presented and the potential upcoming research initiatives were discussed.
Policy Update
FSRA presented the Committee with an overview of the private lending report. The Committee and FSRA discussed the underlining pillars used for MBLAA legislative review consultation feedback.

The next meeting of the committee will be on Wednesday December 4, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
