FSRA seeks public input on its proposed 2026-27 budget plan
The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) is launching a public consultation on its proposed 2026-27 budget plan to give stakeholders the opportunity to share their feedback.
FSRA’s Statement of Priorities and Strategic Framework, along with its budget plan, form the core of its Annual Business Plan, which will then be submitted to the Minister of Finance for approval. The Statement of Priorities and Strategic Framework went out for a public consultation from December 10, 2025 - January 13, 2026.
The budget plan consultation period opens on January 29, and will close on February 9, 2026, at
11:59 p.m. EST. FSRA invites stakeholders to review the proposed 2026-27 budget plan and submit feedback. FSRA will also accept additional feedback on the proposed Statement of Priorities and Strategic Framework as part of this consultation.
