Proposed FRS Rule: Fraud Reporting Service Rule
FSRA held a public consultation on the Proposed Fraud Reporting Service Rule and Guidance from July 15 to October 15, 2024. The proposed rule has not yet been delivered to the Minister for approval.
If the Minister approves the Rule, when it takes effect the proposed rule will help to better determine the amount of auto insurance fraud in the province, identify and address fraud trends and establish a baseline to be able to track and reduce the amount of fraud in the future.
