FSRA uses some AI tools as part of its operations. For transparency, and in line with the Ontario Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence Directive (RUAID), we are publicly disclosing the use of AI tools that:
- play a direct or supporting role in decision-making
- the public interacts with directly

The Decision Support Portal (DSP) is an AI research tool used by FSRA staff to search external websites and internal FSRA systems for information about an applicant or licensee. The DSP only presents information. FSRA staff are responsible for deciding the outcome of an application. They use this information, along with other considerations, to validate and assess suitability of applicants or licensees. |
