Cancellations must be received no later than February 17, 2025, and in writing to [email protected] to receive a full refund. Cancellations received after February 17, 2025, will be charged the entire conference fee and are not eligible for a refund. At any time, you are welcome to send an alternate to the event in your place. Any attendee name changes should be communicated by February 17, 2025.

Mortgage Brokering: The evolution of the Mortgage Broker sector – Consolidation, strategic alliances and innovation

Economic fundamentals and technology are changing the landscape for mortgage brokerages: an increasingly competitive economic environment and rapid technological innovation is driving change. The sector is seeing a continuing trend of consolidation, with the larger networks acquiring smaller brokerages and building alliances to increase competitiveness and access to lenders. This session will focus on advancing FSRA’s Life & Health Insurance supervision activities in support of fair treatment of customers. In particular, our panel will discuss FSRA’s consumer protection efforts in distribution oversight, including a new regulatory framework for MGAs and maturing the regulatory approach to Life Agent supervision.
