FSRA’s Consumer Advisory Panel announces new members

The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) is pleased to announce the appointment of two new members to its Consumer Advisory Panel (CAP). The CAP helps ensure that consumer perspectives are considered when shaping policies and initiatives that affect Ontarians.

The new members bring considerable experience and leadership that will strengthen the panel’s ability to provide consumer-focused advice to FSRA.

Following a competitive selection process, FSRA is pleased to announce the following new individuals to two-year terms on the Consumer Advisory Panel:

  • Dino DiMarco
  • Meseret Haileyesus

FSRA thanks all applicants for the time, effort and commitment demonstrated in applying to serve on the panel.

FSRA would also like to recognize Lucy Becker, as she will be stepping away from her role as the CAP co-Chair. Lucy stepped in to the role of co-Chair in 2025 after several years as an active CAP member. Her contributions as both a CAP member and co-Chair have been extensive and deeply impactful, and we thank her for her time and dedication.

We are also pleased to introduce CAP’s new co-Chair Julie Kuzmic, who will be working alongside the current co-Chair Harvey Naglie. As a long-serving member of CAP, Julie brings more than 15 years of experience in financial services and consumer advocacy to the role.

To outgoing members Ellen Bessner, Leeann Corbeil, and Peter D’Iorio, FSRA extends its sincere appreciation for their valuable contributions and dedication to advancing consumer perspectives through the Consumer Advisory Panel.

FSRA’s Consumer Office provides secretariat support to the CAP. Visit the Consumer Office’s page on the FSRA website to learn more about its work and initiatives.
