FSRA seeking input from mortgage industry experts

The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) is encouraging industry professionals to apply for membership on its Mortgage Brokering Technical Advisory Committee (TAC).

The Committee will provide insights on market conditions and operations, as well as advice, input, and feedback to FSRA management on matters related to the development of rules, procedures, filing requirements, guidelines, operational policies, and other matters.

Who should apply:

FSRA is seeking individuals who reflect the breadth of the mortgage brokering sector, including mortgage brokerages and mortgage administrators. We encourage applications from individuals at various seniority levels who bring practical, day-to-day sector experience. Capacity to attend some or all meetings in person preferred.

FSRA is seeking four members for a three-year term starting in January 2027.

Interested applicants should be senior members of their organization/profession who have operational experience and can represent their organization or profession on relevant issues related to the mortgage brokering sector or related industries.

FSRA will also consider applications from current members whose terms are expiring.
