FSRA appoints Russell White as Chief Information Officer

The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Russell White as Chief Information Officer (CIO), effective February 25, 2026.

Mr. White brings more than 20 years of senior leadership experience across information technology, digital transformation, financial services, and regulatory environments. Most recently, Russell served as Chief Information Officer at the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC), where he led large-scale enterprise initiatives including digital transformation, IT modernization, cloud migration, cybersecurity strategy, and the development of an enterprise data and analytics platform.

Prior to the OSC Mr. White held leadership roles at IFDS, Intact Financial Corporation, and BMO Financial Group, where he successfully led large-scale technology portfolios, complex transformation initiatives, and high-performing global teams.
