Tracey Chinman

Executive Vice President, Corporate Services

Tracey Chinman is Executive Vice President, Corporate Services at the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FRSA).

Tracey previously served as Vice President of Operational and Non-Financial Risk at Home Trust Company, where she led cross-functional teams in designing and embedding risk frameworks aligned with regulatory expectations and strategic goals. Her leadership was instrumental in establishing and maintaining a sustainable risk culture, modernizing IT systems, enhancing board governance, and fostering a culture of transparency and accountability. She also played a pivotal role in shaping industry dialogue through her engagement with OSFI and the Canadian Bankers Association.

Her board contributions include roles on the Risk, Audit, and Governance Committees of Addiction Services Central Ontario, Home Ownership Alternatives, the Child Development Institute, and the Emery-Keelesdale Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic. She is a speaker on operational resilience and risk leadership, including appearances at PRMIA and the CIA Annual Conference.

Tracey holds a CPA designation, a Bachelor of Accounting Sciences from the University of South Africa, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of the Witwatersrand. She completed the Directors Education Program at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, and is a certified director (ICD.D).
