Jordan Solway

Jordan Solway is the newly minted EVP Property & Casualty Insurance, which is a restructured sector that encompasses all aspects of FSRA's market conduct oversight of the property & casualty insurance sector. Jordan brings his previous experience as the first EVP of Legal & Enforcement for FSRA, where he was responsible for all regulatory investigations, enforcement and legal support across FSRA. He is a strategic-minded lawyer and financial services executive with broad experience across FSRA's regulated sectors, including pensions, insurance, credit unions and mortgages. He also has been a leading proponent for FSRA on principles-based regulation.

Jordan brings extensive legal and business experience to FSRA from the insurance/reinsurance sector where he worked across operational areas including legal, compliance, claims, operations, government affairs and risk. He has been an instructor with Degroote Directors College for over 25 years and also himself earned a Chartered Director designation. Jordan holds a Bachelor of Law and Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School and is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada. He also has a certificate in Regulatory Analysis & Decision-Making for the University of Pennsylvania, Carey School of Law.
