Directory of Records

The purpose of the Directory of Records is to assist members of the public in exercising their rights of access under the Freedom of Information & Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) by listing the records in the custody or control of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA).

The Directory contains a list of categories of general records and Personal Information Banks (PIBs) held by FSRA. These inventories are updated annually. Records at FSRA are organized along Functional Area. Under each Functional Area is a list of the file categories held by that Area. Note: this list in not exhaustive.

The Directory does not contain the actual records and it is necessary to make a Freedom of Information Request to FSRA’s Freedom of Information Office. Note: not all records listed in the Directory of Records are available through Freedom of Information requests.
