Mortgage brokerages, brokers, agents and licence applicants are invited to the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario’s (FSRA’s) webinar on proposed Mortgage Agent and Mortgage Broker Licensing Suitability Guidance, posted now for consultation until May 6, 2024. The Guidance sets out the requirements to be suitable to hold a mortgage agent or broker licence in Ontario and explains the oversight role of brokerages and principal brokers.
