The Service provider Annual Information Return is now available

Service providers may now start their 2020 Annual Information Return (AIR) and pay the regulatory fee. Principal Representatives must complete the AIR and pay the fee by June 30, 2021.

The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) uses AIR data to identify trends and potential risks in the sector. All service providers licensed at December 31, 2020 are required by law to file the AIR and pay the regulatory fee each year, even if they did not do business the previous year.

Start your AIR today in your FSRA Account. Make sure your contact information is up to date before filing.

FSRA takes annual filing requirements seriously. If you do not file and pay the regulatory fee by June 30, 2021, FSRA may take regulatory enforcement action. This year, FSRA revoked the licences of 174 service providers who failed to file their AIR and pay the regulatory fee more than once. Please ensure that you are complying with the law and your licence requirements.
