The Financial Services Regulatory Authority is warning consumers that the companies known as Comprehensive Benefits Solutions and Trillium Health Services are not licensed to conduct insurance business in Ontario.
“Comprehensive Benefits Solutions” and “Trillium Health Services” appear to be soliciting insurance products and services from the website comprehensivebenefits.ca. They appears to be using the telephone numbers 647-447-8809 and 1-877-219-3330 and address 2 St Clair Avenue West, Suite 1800, Toronto, ON M4V 1L5. However, Comprehensive Benefits Solutions and Trillium Health Services are not licensed to conduct insurance business in Ontario.
FSRA encourages consumers to exercise caution if they are contacted by anyone using these names or anyone from these coordinates and are advised not to obtain any insurance products.
FSRA licenses insurance agents to safeguard public confidence and trust in Ontario’s financial services sectors that it regulates. A licensed insurance agent can provide information and advice on the benefits and risks involved with purchasing different insurance products. Consumers who purchase items or insurance from individuals or entities that are not licensed as agents or insurers in Ontario are not protected under the Insurance Act and the regulations that govern Ontario's licensed insurance companies and agents.

The Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) is the self-regulatory body for insurance brokers in Ontario.
